Goblet and cover poss Val Saint Lambert
« on: April 05, 2020, 12:49:15 PM »
This lidded goblet is very black. The shape is pretty much a copy of similar items in silver. A visitor suggested to me that it was Val St Lambert, but I have not been able to find any corroboration. Of course the visitor could also be completely wrong?! Does anybody recognise it?

Not sure this link helps much but here is some black pressed glass from early 20th.  I think it says Austrian/Bohemian unknown?

I can certainly see some similarities. Perhaps I'll have a trawl through P-K and see if we can get any more clues! Thanks for the tip!
