Hermanova? Vases and Creamer.
« on: May 08, 2020, 10:36:46 AM »
These are 10" and 6" vases and  creamer which seem to be from the same suite although the small vase doesn't quite have the same depth of moulding as the other two. The large vase certainly shows hints of Hermanova, but there is a similar one in the unknown vase section of presglass-pavillon row 13 no. 03043. and the small vase is on row 12 no. 01992., I can't find the creamer anywhere. On row 11 no. 01997 is a vase with the same moulding on its bottom half which I'm pretty sure is the Hermanova pattern 18716 on P.9 of the pre 1958 Hermanova catalogue on Marcus Newhall's CD. Can we give these an association?

I have seen several of the creamers for sale online described as by Sowerby, possibly mistaken for pattern 2631, but the design is very different.
