Hermanova 18390 Trinket Tray.
« on: June 19, 2020, 01:10:36 PM »
I saw this in a bric-a-brac shop but didn't but it. From Marcus Newhall's CD I think it's pre 1958 Hermanova pattern 18390. The bowl is the same pattern as the one I posted on 31/5/20 which I think belongs to GTS Mystery #145, I haven't found the pot yet.

On P.5 of the pre 1958 Hermanova catalogue are the 18779/18889 pots wit similar "coffin" shaped finials to this pot.

It certainly looks like the #18390 tray. The pot without lid is Mystery Set #145 as you say, and the smaller lidded pot is from Mystery Trinket Set #56

I believe the catalogue images 18779/18889 are related to Mystery Set #95

Thanks again Jayne, it seems to me that many of these pieces are inter-related and there are very many Hermanova patterns that are not shown in the available catalogues. Perhaps one day some other catalogues will appear, fingers crossed!
