2 INCH PAPERWEIGHT IDENTIFICATION HELP
« on: July 13, 2020, 03:09:17 PM »
Hello All

I have a rather nice 2 inch paperweight with pansies and yellow flowers with air bubbles as the centre, sat on a lovely latticino underside. I would appreciate any help in identifying the maker.

Many Thanks

Anne

Hi Anne,

Nice piece. It looks like a Bohemian, Silesian maybe, late 19th C - early 20th C.

Regards.

I am fairly sure this is from Thuringia, Lauscha area...typical poor quality glass full of bubbles.
