Exbor Glass Designers Marks
« on: July 25, 2020, 11:01:51 AM »
Can anyone help? I have acquired a Green Czech Exbor vase. Next to the Ebor etched mark on the base is a what looks like a designers mark. I think I have seen something like it on another piece of Exbor which was attributed to Karel Wunsch. (that mark was  different but in the same place as the one I’m referring to.)  It has been suggested that this vase might be a Pavel Hlava piece. Could this be his signature mark? If not who? I would be very pleased to hear from any one with ideas. The vase is a heavy organic shape  with pressed decoration. It measures  13.5cms in height and 19.5cms across and weighs .
You will see that the mark is very faint and has been difficult to snap as the base is very scratched.
Thanks
