Hi, its quite hard to read, could you rub some talcum powder over the writing, wipe the excess off and it should stand out a lot better.
Could you also provide a full image of the item as this could speed things up for the I/D.

The signature reminds me of a piece I have (see photo) by Bengt Orup for the Johansfors Swedish marked "J.-fors Orup". Yours might not be by Orup but may be another designer. By the way it is "pontil" not "pontiff". ;).

I think I know this signature, but I'd like to see the item clearly to confirm. The photos are very small and the item is not at all well lit. The files could be 5-6 times larger and still fit into the Board's limit. Dimensions might help, too.

Thanks. What you have there is an Aussie far from home. Made by Richard Lamprecht, working in the Sunshine Coast area of Queensland. The signature says Ricardo Glass, his studio name, and the squiggle underneath is part of the mark. He stopped working in glass about a decade ago.

The elaborate stem is also characteristic. The one in the link is even more detailed.
