Polish glass / metal vase
« on: September 16, 2020, 04:51:05 PM »
This Polish glass vase with metal banding caught my eye in a charity shop recently.  My first thought was that it was just intended as a tourist souvenir, since the metal bands are engraved with images of two Warsaw landmarks (the Royal Castle and the Palace on the Isle) but I suppose it's possible that it could be something a bit more upmarket than that.  It's very nicely done anyway.  Height is 12 inches; couldn't tell you the weight but it's not particularly heavy.  Any ideas as to what kind of age it would be?
