The pontil mark is a bit off-putting and I'd been wondering about maybe something made for Elwell?

There is more information here though on the S&W bubble pieces, especially from Nigel :

It does look the same shape as John's though.

I can only surmise that the earlier pieces had this sort of pontil and that as the company moved into the Royal Brierley era they were fully ground out.

No, I don't go along with that to be honest.

I've Stevens and Williams alabaster pieces that date to from 1914 and they have beautifully finished and polished pontil marks for example.

The pontil mark doesn't look right to me.  I mean it might be a feature of a particular range of glass (trying to make it look old etc) but generally I wouldn't think S&W were making stuff with unpolished pontil marks.

John, if you're reading, do your pieces have polished pontil marks?

All had polished marks, that does tend to make this one either an anomaly or a n other.

If the glass at the base of the green bowl was thin then polishing away the mark could have left a hole. About all I can come up with...

I now have a strong feeling that this is made by the French company La Verrerie de Biot. Decent photos are few and far between but I eventually found this.  https://www.ricardo.ch/fr/a/biot-glasschale-fruechteschale-gross-1075419048/

Biot is a possibility.  I did consider it but two things - it is usually marked in my experience but I don't know if it's always marked, and the bright green colour of your bowl which seems different to their greens.

Is your bowl shape identical to the one you linked to?
Are your original photos colour enhanced?  the green is very bright on my monitor.

I would certainly veer towards something else other than S&W though.

Yes the green has been enhanced to give a true reflection of it's colour, perhaps this hasn't been done in the other photos you've seen. The shape looks to be the same and mine also has the same bubbles, domed foot and pontil mark.

Nev,if you click on the button 'report to moderator' you could ask one of the mods when they have time to move the thread back in to Glass just until the maker has been fully established?

Thanks flying free, I was going to ask for it to be moved as I'm convinced it is by Biot. It matches exactly the images in the English Verriere catalogue in the link in my last post but I think it's a French original. The other information in the link seems to confirm this.
