Hope someone can help with these tealight holders
« on: November 04, 2020, 06:32:40 PM »
Hi.  Found in the North West of England.  This is one of a pack of 5 tealight holders that look very similar to Iittala Naapi but I'm 99% sure they not.  Smooth on top with raised 'dimples' or 'dots' on the underside that run from the base to about 1 cm below the rim but these raised 'dimples' or 'dots' run in concentric circles around the holder whereas on the Naapi they appear to be more haphazard.

In addition these were in the lower half of a box (maybe original) which has a logo that looks like WF.

Each one measures just under 12 cm in diameter x 3 cm deep and weighs almost 500 gms.

I've posted 3 images of one of the tealight holders and also an image of the logo.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Hello Sean, i have a few Nappi tealight holders but no photos in the computer at the moment.
You are right in your posting concerning the dot pattern,on my Nappi tealight holders the pattern is random.
Mine are 120mm diameter but less than 25mm in height.
Nappi roughly translates to button in Finnish.
Tim

Thanks Tim for confirming my thought's that these are not Nappi.  I've been trying to id the WF logo without any success at the moment and I think this could be the clue to id.  Perhaps I should be looking for something more contemporary - maybe a Chinese look-a-like?
