Please Help - Broken Glass
« on: December 13, 2020, 01:56:06 AM »
Hi all,

I was doing the washing up this evening when I accidentally broke one of my mother in laws' favourite glasses - it was inherited from a previous generation and I feel awful about it though I am still unsure how it happened, it must have been extremely fragile. I would like to attempt to replace before she notices it to spare her the grievance of the breakage if at all possible as she can be quite erratic and her finding out about the breakage will cause a lot more harm than good.

Images are attached below, if anyone is able to help identify the glass and where I may be able to find another one I would be eternally grateful. There is no text on the bottom to help (it is plain). If there are any further details I can do to help the search please do let me know.

Thank you in advance for any assistance anyone is able to offer - I really appreciate anyone taking the time to read this and offer any support.

Best wishes,
Ryan.

Hello Ryan, sorry but you need to upload some more photos as it's very difficult to see any detail on your glass. Something around 80kb or 800x600 should do, there may be information in the "tech" section if you need help.

Sorry Ryan, I forgot to say welcome to the Board.

And also, I forgot to add to my reply above that I am happy to help out with your image(s) of the drinking glass if you are unble to make the suggested revision to the Kb and Pixel sizes. Just click on the envelope under my username and send me a message - we can take it from there.

It’s hard to see from the photo but it looks like it might have a band of laurel leaf cutting? If so, that might help in a search, but is quite common. You could try searching on Replacements.com for tumblers.

It's really hard to make anything much out from the pic, but could it be from some sort of special stacking set, from the overall shape?
