Sprayed On Effect On Modern Vase
horochar:
An early collecting purchase which I now think may be low-end (China? East Europe?) glass. Anyone seen something like this before? Has no age wear. Interesting finish, though, light blue and irridescence goldish irridescence "sprayed on" in the hot stage (i.e., not after it cooled; it is permanently in glass and doesn't scratch off). The piece doesn't have the weight, base or top that I associate with high quality glass. However, I'd love to be incorrect!
  Any help would be appreciated.
Charles.

and she is most definitely NOT low end

I wish it were! The quality of the pix on her website far surpasses mine (in my opinion), in technique and artistry. Mine has the feel of factory and not studio glass.
Frank:
It is very like her early work.
