Pressed lead glass. My guess probably european c. 1850. Possibly earlier.
Combined height is 12.5 cm
Diameter is 12 cm at flange
The curious part being a centered rounded protrusion in the inside bottom of the bowl and the same thing on the inside of the lid.
For lack of a better word a " nipple" as part of the mould.
I have never seen such a thing. Thinking might be a clue as to maker or process, possibly patented,etc.
Anybody else come across this?
