Powder Bowls by Sherdley for Woolworths.
Jayne:
Powder Bowls! Supplied to Woolworths by Sherdley. I wonder if they also sold full Dressing Table Sets?
The lidded pot image in this Advert could be a Sugar or a Trinket Pot/Powder Bowl.
It has similarities to the known Ravenhead set.

I have a few of these what I thought to be Ravenhead pots in 2 sizes, one matches the Catalogue image the other is taller with a slightly different base pattern, the lids fit both sizes, perhaps this could be the Sherdley pot.
Is there a connection between Sherdley and Ravenhead?
With thanks to The Woolworths Museum.

LinzC:
Sherdley and Ravenhead are both ”United Glass Products”.
I have adverts for both with that in the small print, with some stating United Glass Bottle Manufacturers products.
The Sherdley adverts are 1940’s-1950’s.
