Walther & Söhne Kopenhagen Uranium Vase
« on: April 19, 2021, 11:04:18 AM »
This is a lovely 16cm. Kopenhagen vase described on P.28 of the 1933 Walther catalogue as Vase 44113 "Löffelbecherform". This translates as "spoon cup form" but what that is I don't know, perhaps one of our German members can enlighten me. It has lugs on the inside to take a flower block so I suppose I'll just have to look for one  ;D.

From memory I think something similar would have been placed on the dining table containing hot water for either warming or cleaning serving spoons between courses.
