Sowerby 2684 Bird and Panel Vase.
« on: May 11, 2021, 01:30:49 PM »
There are several posts concerning this type of vase being Jobling or Sowerby, I think this is a later Sowerby one. The body of the bird is completely smooth with no feathers, the wings are barely visible in parts but the tail feathers can be seen. The vase is No. 2684 on P.16 of List 39 but is difficult to see so I thought this one would make a good reference point. Height is 7 1/2".
You can't fool me there ain't no sanity clause. Chico Marx.
