Glad to see it here, I want John's opinion to bounce about with mine. :)
I thnk this is the first square bottle I have seen in browns with yellows. It doesn't seem to fit Earthtones and isn't quite Tortoiseshell.
I have seen this "loopy" way of executing a bottle in tricorns. The square profile and the "vibrated" maker's mark takes it to a period later than those though. But I still think it's kind of experimental (in a good way) and mid-later '70s.
It's a very unusual find, Keith. I am a bit jealous. ;D

I'm thinking closer to the mid '70s than later. I suspect it might be from an overlapping period, around the time Said took over.

I wonder if the square vases and bottles are earlier, maybe just post Harris, got the impression over time that the round shapes are slightly more refined in execution, especially the bottles.

That sounds a bit like my thinking too. (whew  ;D )
I'm suspecting they experimented with a few moulded shapes - the odd hexagonal one has turned up (in blue or Ming).
I've got a set of 3 short "big" textured bottles, but they're the only ones I've seen.
One in reds and browns, one tortoiseshell and one blue.
A taller (8") square flanged bottle in Tortoiseshell and a small square stoppered bottle. I suspect I may have had more earlier on.
My round tortoiseshell bottle is 13" tall.
Later on, they made these bottles a good bit taller (up to 17") and in Ming.

The diameter of Keith's bottle looks quite wide compared to my round bottle. 2"7/8th.

Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)
