But I'm afraid can't see any evidence in your second link that the shade shown is actually Clichy. It's just what the seller claims. :'(

You are right Sue, I don't think these shades have anything to do with the Clichy paperweight factory, it's just a term everyone uses to describe them, there are lots online.

Used a bit like the way some sellers misappropriate 'whitefriars' for any piece of glass that might be knobbly.

 ;D  - now the pontil mark doesn't matter.  If it's knobbly it might be Whitefriars regardless of what the base looks like.
