Hi, does anyone know where I can find information about the J.I. Co that produced Venetian glass?
Thanks,

Can you be more specific? Is this a label or a mark, and what type of glass was it seen on?

I'm wondering if it was a retailer or distributor as the only J.I. I know of is Joseph Inwald (but they were a Czech producer!)

Is the firm you're meaning bidda? http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-1914
I don't think we've managed to find much about them as yet.

I did find a reference from a seller on TradeMe that said
Quote
JI Co were a mid-century importer of Murano glass into the US.
but I have no supporting evidence to back that up, although others may well have.

Yes, Anne, that's the firm I'm speaking of :)
I've got a partial label on a wild curly bowl and wanted to learn more about it.

David, you asked for specifics. Here are a few images of the object in question :)
