As is often the case in these situations blanket statements don't hold up under scrutiny, there is nearly always a more granular picture ready to emerge. A Michael Harris signature is rightly considered something of a rarity on items made at Mdina but it seems that it is a little less so at IoWSG, even then it can still be hard to find a given item with a signature. I noticed when collecting that finding Aurene items signed seemed more unusual than say Blue and White Swirls or Seaward, not that we are comparing like for like when it comes to numbers made, Aurene ran for years compared to the other two designs.
