Hi, I am hoping someone will be able to help me identify this lovely marbled orange and red glass bowl.  There is a moulded piece on the pontil which I hope shows up well in the photo.  I bought this in Australia some time ago, the glass feels silky.
Many thanks

Hi  -  regret I'm unable to help, but would suggest you post one or two pix showing the piece in its entirety please  -  this may help the folk here to offer an id.       Your piece looks possibly to give a nod toward 'spatter' glass - a method of decoration that was common generally between the wars, though not suggesting this might have that sort of age.     In case your picture is less than clear, please advise what sort of wear is apparent on the base, and some indication of dimension will possibly help.   thanks.

Larger images would also be helpful please, you should be able to aim for around 700 pixels along the longer side, and save for web and they should fit the board's size limits. If you need help resizing them have a look at our how to techie tip post herehttp://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,34093.0.html

Hi, thanks for your responses, I am hoping the photos will help.  The bowl measures 16.5 cm diameter at the top.  When on a flat table it is slightly tilted (accidentally during making?).
