Greetings from Finland.  Can someone help me, what model number is this glass creamer by Davidson? There is lion mark in the bottom. Age? Thank you.

while you're waiting for the model No., just to say that as you possibly know, this is the famous hobnail pattern from Davidson - Registered with the Board of Trade in the U.K. as Rd. No. 153858 on 2nd August 1890, and doubtless produced for some time after  -  apparently, this design was also produced for several years prior to Registration  -  why it wasn't Registered earlier I've no idea.

As for the demi-lion trade mark, the books say this was used from c. 1880 and disappears about 1890  ..........  the suggestion for this situation is possibly that it was discontinued by his son Thomas  due to his father's death  -  it recurs around the 1920, or so.      Very nice looking creamer - good find. :)             Assume you do mean the factory pattern No.?

Thank you both for your answers. Nice to know the age of the creamer, the registry number and the pattern number. It is quite nice to find this from the second hand market. Old glass is so beautiful  ;)

It comes from a publication by the Pressed Glass Collectors Club (run by Rod Crowshaw) - I think the club has been defunct for a good few years.

The publication was
George Davidson Catalogue No 1 & 2 C 1880 to 1890 plus pages 1903 & 1910
(photocopy of a catalogue, I don't know where the original lives)

There is a thread about their publications here
