Tiffany & Co Blue Bowl
« on: October 05, 2021, 09:18:38 PM »
Hi everyone.

I acquired this bowl a few weeks ago and have managed to track down a couple of other examples, both of which are marked Tiffany & Co on the bases and carry labels stating Made in England.

Mine has no label and interestingly the Tiffany mark appears to have been ground out (see photograph). I suppose it could have been rejected and sold on by the manufacturer, or may be a production overrun and treated similarly. Other suggestions welcome.

I would be interested to know which company in England may have made these bowls for Tiffany and how old it might be.

Any information or suggestions would be more than welcome.

The bowl is 31.5cm in diameter at the rim. 10.5cm tall and 11.5cm in diameter at the base. It weighs 2.4kg.

Thank you in anticipation

Best regards
