It's very difficult to tell from the photos but to me the base pictures including this last you just posted, make it look as though it was amber rolled in mica, blown out and then cased in clear.  I say mica because it looks that colour to me in the last pic below.  That said, John could be right about the gold powder  :-\

I don't think it's Leerdam.  Possibly Czech 1930s?
