I thought these 2 cups deserve a show on the GMB. I am not sure if they are Nailsea Glass or just in the style.

Height 2.25"
Weight 87gm and 108gm

Over half of the the bowl 1.25" has the blue threading including the base.

Thanks for looking.

Very unusual, not seen that use of two colours in that style  ;D

Hi Roy  -  my money is on these being just Nailsea style, in view of the white pulled up thingies  -  but they are quite stunning and thanks for showing.  :)

They're very pretty with that colour combination.

S&W used a red blue and white colour combination on some items iirc? late 19th.  Might be in CH British Glass 1800-1914. Or the later period book.

It might also be worth looking at the various pulled feathered 'Nailsea style' Victorian hand bells for any that come in this colour way.

The other thing is to look at Richardson pieces as they also used this turquoise trailing I think (and did James Powell?)

Thanks for the replies.

I agree with Paul about not being Nailsea and m after reading CH my first choice would be S&W and Richardson.

Thanks Roy
