Battuto from India has been mentioned several times on the board in the past, here is an example.

Photos were taken with my phone and are somewhat limited.

That's a lovely effect.
I think these (battuto) were being sold about 8 years ago weren't they?  There seemed to be a period when they were in vogue/being produced.

It is effective, the number of cuts per square inch is lower than say these Exbor Hedgehogs.

Some of the posts mentioning Indian battuto go back around 15 years.
