Hi - you don't mention any surface sculpting or design, but am I correct in thinking there is a relief moulding of what appears to possibly be a 'face'  -  or do I need Specsavers again?         Can see the edge chips, so presumably some age to this piece, though how much I've no idea, and though it won't tell us a maker, the guys here prefer to see some indication of size please.      Appreciate it does have the appearance of an insulator, but I suppose it might have another intended unrelated use.                What is the extent of wear - if any - inside the cavity?          There are a myriad of moulded patterns for piano feet, though the basic design remains similar for all  -  hopefully someone here will know of yours and be able to help :)

Hi Paul.... yes first post a bit of a failure.... wrote it a little fast and left out some details.
Think I should of called it uranium glass for starters. It is a clear pale green without the black light, glows vibrantly green with.
There are many chips to the piece but no wear inside of the cup.
It stands 5cm high, base is 9.5cm diameter and the top 6.5cm diameter. The face is wonderful a guy with a beard and wild hair.... only on one side.
Thanks for your help :)

This looks like piano stand design number 408 from the 1880s Davidson catalogues. There was a Davidson celery vase on eBay very recently which sported a similar facial design.

Nice. Photos without UV illumination are always helpful though, otherwise the detail gets lost

It was a publication from the Pressed Glass Collectors Club some years ago. The odd one pops up for sale on Ebay.
