Topic: Help please to ID vase

Help please to ID this unusual vase. I am not expecting it be be anything special.

I am thinking some type of acid treatment.
The vase looks a nice shape.

Looks to of have had a pontil, buts looks to have melted at some point.
Height 9"
Weight 1650gm
Not signed that I can see.

It can be hard to tell from a photo, especially if it has been heat-treated, but I am suspecting a 4 pronged rod was used when creating the pontil scar there. Was it?

That would help eliminate a few makers. 
But apart from that, I'm kind of stumped, Roy.
It's a kind of traditional shape, but not traditional decor.

The only well-known 4-pronger I can think of is Norman Stuart-Clarke.
But I haven't quite been able to reconcile his work with your vase.

It reminds me of the décor of Thomas Spake of Tennessee, as in this piece https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/639945811/hand-blown-glass-vase-red-glass-vase but I may be way off base.
