Eyelash and sash sugar bowl
« on: December 23, 2021, 09:15:06 AM »
I wondered if anyone has seen this pattern before or can suggest a maker. It is unleaded glass and could be from the northeast of England. The eyelash design is identical to a known Molineaux Webb motif from an 1880 registration, and the lower sash pattern echoes a Derbyshire pattern of 1874. Therefore I would date it to around 1880.

I have the National Archives doc for it, and have found a small creamer for that registration.
I said the eyelash was "identical" in my original post but in fact there are small differences, should have said "inspired"
