Nuutajarvi 'Tramp' Glasses
« on: February 02, 2022, 06:36:54 PM »
Would anyone have any information about these Nuutajarvi tumbler glasses, please? They each have a black transfer of a pair of tramps and their witty exchanges (in Finnish). I'm guessing 1960s or 1970s and wonder if they're by a known Finnish illustrator or done in-house?

Yes, the illustrator is a well known (political) cartoon artist Kari Suomalainen who worked for Helsingin Sanomat. (the largest newspaper in Finland) The language in these glasses is Swedish. (it is the other official language in Finland). 1960s-70s would be correct.
