Muller Freres cameo vases
« on: June 15, 2020, 01:20:15 AM »
Hello,

I've been offered a nice looking "Muller Freres" cameo vase. However, I'm not convinced it's right?

Is anyone here familiar with genuine Muller Freres cameo vases; if so, please could you confirm whether (or not) they ever used the reverse incised technique listed here:
https://www.realorrepro.com/article/Many-signatures-found-on-new-cameo

...and yes, the vase is being offered as a Muller Freres vase, not style/type. However, having looked at it closely, it clearly uses the reverse incised technique detailed on that page.

Thank you for any help offered,

Best regards,

Adrian
