The glass pegs really are pretty much the same as the originals posted, well spotted, remembered and connected, Tim. 8)

Yep, thanks everyone, mystery sorted. I'm looking to do a chapter on Percival Vickers dig fragments for my book. This is one of about 40-50 items. Most are too small to say anything about. A few are known registered or unregistered pieces. Then there are a few like this one that needed help from the community.
