Glass squirrel of mysterious origins
« on: June 16, 2022, 04:45:11 PM »
This figurine is 4.75" x 3.75" long x 2" wide and weighs 1 lb 2 ounces. It is made of white opalescent and clear glass with a bit of orange glass. Bottom was either ground and highly polished or was placed on a flat surface while hot.

It is a very a high quality silly looking figurine. Not sure what the Y-shaped orange thing is supposed to be..... Maybe this is supposed to be a glow in the dark Three Mile Island squirrel eating a mutant carrot? The opalescent glass caught my eye. No label, no marks, no idea of maker or country of origin.

I found this somewhere in the US of A but do not recall when or where.

Maybe someone who collects critters like this can see a specific style, period or country of origin? Any help appreciated.
Glass mutt. I collect anything I like & find interesting & is of reasonable quality.
