Can you photograph on white paper at all please?
It's incredibly hard to see the colours against the wood.

Thanks

Hi there the glass is an awkward one to photograph hope these are
a bit better it seems to have a weird blue outer on the plum base and
then maybe clear. Does not glow under black light. Sorry.

It wouldn't glow if it were neodymium glass as Sue suggested.  But it might go blue or purple under a long life light bulb or change colour to a blue purple under different light sources.
HOwever it does look as though it could be pink cased at the base in a blue, rather than a neodymium.  Try it in different lighting situations to see if it does change colour though.

It won't be neodymium, usually large size, has the look of one Seguso company or another but the shape is a little plain.

The newer pics don't look nearly so much as if neodynium could be a candidate - it looks more like a very well-done colour density fade in a blue layer over a pink one. All in clear. :)

Also seems a little plain except for those unusual little irregular marks on
the rim i agree also with the color tried from a different angle and lighting
condition below. it is 2.7 kg
Thanks appreciate your inputs comments really is helpful too.
