Antique Amethyst Glass Pedestal Bowl Sharp Pontil Scar??
« on: November 11, 2022, 11:06:12 AM »
Was hoping this bowl was an antique sugar bowl or sucrier if you like.
the base of the bowl has i think what is known as petal molding ?
When i look through the glass it has dirty specks and bubbles in it
the base has wear around the outside of the foot. I wondered what
other glass collectors thought regarding date on it i thought it would
likely have been made in the UK and around 1860-1880 but might be
well wrong here it measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
