Topic: Webb 'Ribonette ?

6 inches tall, polished pontil mark and some wear, not seen this colour before, is it Webb's ?

I think the blue one looks more like Whitefriars "Waved Ribbed" pattern.

Yes, that has swags rather than v-ish shapes.

is it paler than Webb Golden Amber?  I have a bullseye vase but it's quite a bit more amber in colour than yours.

There's some here and one on the left called Venetian Ripple - does that look similar?

Thanks Sue, Nev. M, this jug is more brown than amber, nothing like the dark amber Webb pieces I have.

looking at CH British Glass 1800-1914 page 433:
The design Ribbonette appears to have much smaller and closer set together zigzags on it.  So I'm not convinced these are Ribbonette.
There is a design 'Cascade' which looks quite similar to the blue piece though. Is that blue a Webb blue?  In the colours list there are some blues, the most appropriate to me seems to be the Azurine which came in in 1895. (see page 429)

According to the colours listed on page 429 - there was a Smoke in 1879, a Chocolate in 1879 and a Brown in 1880.  Also a Topaz in 1882.  I'm never entirely sure what colour Topaz would indicate to be honest, so I've included it here
