Royal Brierley cut Identification - ID = Dartington "Ice"
« on: February 26, 2023, 07:58:49 PM »
After trawling Google without succes I came to the conclusion the best place to identify this Royal Brierley cut was with the vast knowledge of Glassmessages members.
All I came up with was that the cut may be from the 1930s however I couldn't find it in the limited catalogues from the time I've picked up. Another was that it was called "Ice" but again I don't think that's correct.
The cut is what seems to be rows of mitre cuts around the bowl and on the stemware down the stem. The stemware is quite tall also being 23cm, 24cm and 26.5cm in height.

Thanks in advance.

Having contacted Dartington they were most helpful. The range is called "ICE" and is quite old, no dates given.

The Ice Goblet code is GOBPR5653

The Ice Large Wine code is LSWPR5654

The Ice Flute code is FLTPR5654

It was a pleasant surprise to get a reply considering they're not in manufacture anymore.
