Can anyone help to identify how old this glass might be?
« on: March 15, 2023, 10:42:33 PM »
Hi all!

I'm new here and thinking I might have finally found the place where someone could help me with some answers to my question(s).

Found these in a "second-hand" shop in Sweden and the hollow stem is what made me go for it.
Have the inscription "Augusta" made by hand I believe as they differ in details between glasses.

Lights up under 365nm not 395nm, so not uranium but perhaps manganese or something in the mix ?

Have four wine glasses (?) and six smaller ones.
They measure as follows (in millimeter) and all differ a bit from another.

Big ones:

Height: 185-193mm ish
Cup across 85mm approx.
Foot across 80mm approx.

Small ones:
Height 120-125mm
Cup  50mm ..
Foot is around 55mm

Weight :Between 75g - little bit over 80g (scale max out at 80g).

Any information at all would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
/Michael - Sweden

Higher detailed images can be found here, forum limits make it hard post them as I would like.
