Another interesting link.

If it is a copy it seems to be a good one (although we then probably have to call it a "fake" instead of a copy)

With regards to the clear glass it seems to be different to what is mentioned there. Looking at the base the clear glass is not in the middle of the colored glass but on the inside and (at least on the base) the outside.

The signature is not a very reliable indicator but it's not an obvious fake one. Size and location look good, also the fact that it's not immediately spotted just by looking at it.

The area behind the desing is something we cannot check. It's just too small. From how far we can feel it's all smooth.

This vase has as similar effect on the base - this site is an excellent reference source :

I'd get the vase checked with a specialist if I were you.

That's a great site to drool over. So many nice pieces....

Found this one which is the same shape and background coloring but with a different design/flower https://www.chasenantiques.com/images/products/original_765_1.jpg
There are also some violets listed, different shapes but some have the golden outlines and leaf veins, other don't so both options seem to be possible.

And you're right. It might be a good idea to get it checked.

See page 5 :)

Wow, nice find. That matches the shape and also the coloring seems to be consistent with most of the background in white and only the lower part in color(s).

Thank you all :)
