oh no!  I hate it when that happens but worse if you've only just bought something.

It's a gorgeous colour.  Do you know what the range is?

There is Meadow Garden and Summer Fruits, but I'm not sure what this is. There is a photo of Greenberry from Summer Fruits in the book, but it is backlit and I can't work out if they are the same things or not.
But both ranges have delicate vertical coloured strands amongst the splodges and I can't see any in your bottle.
Greenberry was produced in '93 only.
The other mystery is that I cannot find this PB shape under Summer Fruits. There is one this shape from '93 in the Jazz, Rythym 'n Blues design.
I am wondering if this might hav been something sold from the glassmaker's shelves rather than being from an official range? You saying it's a bit wonky would also point in that direction.
 :)

Sue I don't think Keith said it's wonky  :)  (or it wasn't before it was dropped   ;D ) however it's odd you can't find the decor.  But it sounds from what you've said re shape that 1993 is possibly the age?  Such a lovely colour. Unusual.
I love your phrase 'glassmaker's shelf'.  I'm going to use that to describe my cupboard shelves which contain all the pieces I don't like or are damaged but are there for research purposes :)

:-[ It wasn't here Keith said it was a bit wonky. Sorry, m.
But he did tell me it was when we were in contact the other day.

The Glassmaker's Shelves was the name given to a set of shelves in the IoWSG shop where they sold experimental work done by the makers. Not the official ranges of things.

It was Gooseberry produced in '93 only, not Greenberry. DOH! But gooseberries are green, and you can get greengages. I haven't yet encountered anything called a greenberry.  ;)

The shape looks a bit clumsy to my eye for Isle of Wight Studio Glass of that era, maybe a connection somewhere along the line.

The base is probably too small as well as lop-sided so maybe a second ?

I did think it was more likely to be from the glassmakers' shelf than to be anything official, John.
But I don't know enough about other recent makers to line up any other suspects.  ::)
