Baccarat Salt.

(1/1)

NevB:
Another find today, I had an inkling it might be special but it wasn't until I'd given it a good clean that the magic name Baccarat was visible. It's a No.4351A salt, shown here on P61 of the 1893 catalogue. Sadly it has a chip, but who cares :)

NevB:
Thanks Christine and m, definitely very nice. I found it at a fair soon to be featured on Bargain Hunt, they obviously missed it.

It is chipped however I have to admit it's so nice to actually see what colour, and how opaque, a green uranium glass is for example especially when it's positively identified.  So for that and it's age,  it's brilliant to have.  Thanks for sharing.
