an example of a ruby facet cut tankard with the gilded over cream enamelling here.  Don't know whether the date is correct but interesting to see a good example of the type of enamelling:

Mine is this colour, has the same star cut base done in the same way as this jug and the gilding on mine is all over and the same as the feathered gilded pattern around the top of this jug:
