Lovely fairly thick glass bowl with whip lash patterns in the colors
with a graduated shaped side and unusual base with raised pontil scar.
Wondered if anybody knows when it was made and by whom please?
It measures 9" x 3 1/4"

It's not a raised scar, it's what is called a "button". It's a tiny blob of hot glass added to the pontil scar area, to make it look neat. :)
