Percival Vickers Ink Well - pattern 47
« on: August 25, 2023, 01:25:08 PM »
The only ink found so far with the help of the Percival Vickers catalogues, this is shown as pattern 47 in the 1881 catalogue - or possibly 48, both very similar.
The density value is contributory for the attribution.

Missing its lid, which was glass with studs on the rim, and a star pattern on the top.
Also missing the ink, which I've replaced with balsamic vinegar for the photo!

That's a great find.  It reminds me of a bridge thing I have/had that had beads like that on it.
