I'm not really sure there is any connection here but have you checked Sanders and Wallace?  Cannot see how that signature could be linked but there is a vase on ebay - too long link and don't know how to shorten - that has canes and a similarish way of signing.  I don't think there's a link but there might be ... shortened to initials would be AS and DW

Yes, always seems to be legible from my experience too. Very useful archive that, don't think I have seen their Comet or Ripple patterns before, both lovely.
