Perhaps Baijan Glass, Azerbaijan jack-in-the-pulpit
« on: October 24, 2023, 09:02:43 PM »
Is this by Essie Zareh of Baijan Glass? I rather like it even though not to everyone's taste. It is well made and has a substantial weight. It stands 43 cm high and 15 cm max diameter at the base. It has a satin surface finish. There are no maker's marks that I can see.

From what I can gather the company was formed in 2000 and went out of business in 2011 or 2012. Their web site still exists.

I believe it is.  Have you searched online for the catalogue?
I had a jug in red and white - it was gorgeous quality.  I gave it to my brother as a present.

Baijan looks spot on Anton. Occasionally they are signed Baijan, I have an unsubstantiated theory that that indicates later rather than earlier production.

Thanks for the feedback. I have now looked at the Baijan Glass catalogue. Though not exactly the same as mine there are similar vases listed there.
