Tall vase
« on: February 01, 2024, 06:13:18 PM »
I picked up this vase yesterday while out shopping for depression glass. Online searches resulted in a lot suggestions of Murano, but I am doubtful. I asked a Murano group and there was a thought it was Czech. Any thoughts on this piece?

It measures 12" tall by about 6" wide at the widest and weighs just under 3lbs.

The matte-ground pontil mark and use of smudgy murrine suggest modern Chinese to me. It's also quite large
