I acquired this Murano pperweight a couple of days ago. Carries the Murano "Rooster" label on the base with Made in Italy accross the bottom of the label. Having put it under flourescent light the daylight pink disappeared as expected, though very, very pale blue, almost clear under this light. I thought I might as well put it under UV as well and surprise surprise was met with a lovely peachy orange glow.
Opinions of the mineral content involved would be appreciated, is it unusual to get this combination?
Also, any suggestions of who the maker may be would be welcome.
Thank you in anticipation.
