canoe vase painted with exotic bird.

not being an ornithologist I took a quick look and thought Toucan, but it seems not, so if anyone knows what the bird is do shout please  - of course it might simply be a stylized bird.    These canoe/trough shaped vases are common, and I might once have known the maker of this shape, but if I did I've now forgotten  -  it's pressed, but not a lot of base wear.             I think it's quirky - appeals to my sense of fun, and definitely not something I've seen before, and from the charity shop this morning.           About 9 inches long (c. 23 cms.)  -  4.75 inches tall (c. 1 cms.), and the painting has been done professionally - great finish.        All and any replies gratefully received  -  thanks for looking.
