Hi all , i really need help with this one , the engraving looks very naive , maybe Swedish or German ?
please help with dating it and maybe more about this early glass work , thank you an advance ! the bird i think is a phoenix and sails on boat are also engraved

The shape of this lovely decanter is called a Cluck Cluck. They are Danish in origin and were made by several now long gone makers. They are still made by Holmegaarde.
I can't help to pin yours, with the engraving, down more than that, but other folk here might know a lot more than I do.

This one has a Dutch attribution, it has a similar engraved bird and a windmill so that may be correct.

thank you, i have seen two with bird and windmill, not seen one with this style boat they even cot  a criss cross on sails the bird i have seen similar but not with feathers raised back of head looks like a phoenix raising ,very hard to predict an age  , i will keep hopes that i find a clue thank you again

It could be a Danish windmill?

The stopper on your decanter looks to sit quit low in the deck so probably isn’t original. There are a few of these with similar engraving online, and many of them have a crown type stopper, see the three examples below. I suspect the stoppers on those are the correct type.

The Decanter by Andy McConnell page 211 has two Prussian decanters with crown type stoppers similar to those in my links above. The stoppers aren’t quite the same but are flat underneath. They are both dated 1860, one probably Denmark, one Sweden. The Swedish bottle and stopper looks like this:

thank you, i also saw some google search most stoppers fit oddly , still tring to get a idea as to date and think also danish , i looked at ivos comments to some posts as well , hard work with these
