Large Urn-shaped Vase, c.1875?
« on: January 05, 2025, 12:22:34 AM »
Anyone have any information? I think it might date to about 1875 but I don't know

It is hefty, full of swirls, clear shear mark under the foot.

Height (approx.): 13 inches

Diameter across top rim: 8 9/16 inches

Foot diameter: 61/2 inches

Weight: 5.35 Lb

Found in an op shop here in Sydney. ;)

I can't find out anything about it, but although it is not high-end, it is certainly lovely and striking!
